Mosquitoes are nobody’s friend. In my opinion, they rank up there with root canals and getting stuck in an elevator. They’re to be avoided as much as possible. Growing up in Manitoba, Canada, we had mosquitoes the size of small birds, and we kinda got used to them. But we still didn’t like them. And so, to avoid having to purchase spray made from chemicals (and sometimes the dreaded DEET), we came up with 15 DIY natural mosquito spray repellents.
Give them a try. A lot of them smell great, actually. Not all of them will work for everyone – you’ll have to figure out which you like the most and which works best for you.
Remember – always perform a patch test. Make sure you don’t have any bad reactions before applying to a large area of skin. You can always adjust the essential oil quantities to suit your preference and sensitivity.
If you’re ready, then let’s get started!
